Endowments/Gifting

Thornapple Manor would like to extend this invitation for you to give back in a meaningful way to enhance the lives of residents who are unable to live independently. Please take a moment of your time to consider the enclosed gift giving options.

Tree Of Life

You can help raise funds for special resident equipment and furniture with your gifts of $100 for our Tree of Life. Approximately 70 to 75% of our residents have Medicaid as their primary source of support, meaning that they have limited financial resources. The donor will not only have the opportunity to memorialize or honor a loved one with a beautiful leaf plaque which will help “grow” the tree in the lobby of the new Thornapple Manor, but will be able to enhance the lives of those less fortunate in our community.

Celebration of Life Walkway and Memorial Octagon Bricks

Lining the sidewalk in the west courtyard is a pleasant walkway featuring memorial bricks. This is a magnificent way to honor someone special. For those that want something a little more unique, the large octagon bricks surrounding the focal tree in the garden would be a wonderful choice and help raise funds to keep the gardens beautiful.

Many Ways to Help

For generations, Thornapple Manor has been here to serve our most frail population, in many cases serving our grandparents, parents, or spouses who have needed long-term or end-of-life care.

This is your opportunity to create enduring memories, as each memorial listed herein will either be engraved, or have a plaque attached to recognize the donor or honoree.
