Volunteers have the opportunity to make huge differences in the lives of our residents. Some of our current activities include, but are not limited to: one-on-one visits; reading to people; playing games; sharing hobbies; doing crafts; painting nails and giving hand massages; telling hunting stories; leading faith-based programs; working in the gardens; bringing their children to visit; and, performing for our residents with their musical or vocal talents. We also have a Volunteer Auxiliary at Thornapple Manor who active in our neighborhoods, running the little gift store, having fundraisers for special needs, and who do events to recognize and honor both residents and staff.
